The Humble Hut and The Space Between

The Humble Hut and The Space Between (our creative movement studio) located in the Gulf Gate South Plaza at 2740 Bayshore drive, Units #5 and 14, is grateful to present one of our services: our infrared sauna.

Infrared saunas, unlike other types of saunas, have been shown to warm your body directly and not just the air around you, hence allowing the heat to penetrate the tissue. Infrared saunas operate at lower, easily controllable temperature- typically between 100 and 150°F- than other types of saunas which make them a good option for those who cannot tolerate higher ambient heat. The overall goal, however, will be the same as with any types of saunas, meaning that you will sweat.

Many ethnic groups and cultures (from native Americans to Fins) have used and are using different techniques to induce sweating for its cleansing and restorative benefits. It is said that the Fins considered saunas as the “poor man’s pharmacy.”

The sweating and direct warming of the body with infrared lamps in this type of sauna is what can produce an array of benefits for your health and well-being, such as:

  • Improving circulation

  • Relieving muscle and joint pain

  • Relaxing your entire body and easing chronic fatigue

  • Detoxifying

At the Humble Hut we chose the infrared sauna unit manufactured and distributed by High Tech Health for its mindful crafting. Our two-person unit features:

  • Far infrared lamps (the safest)

  • Ergonomic seating

  • Solid poplar wood (neutral pH and no strong polyphenol scent as with cedar)

  • Lowest EMF heaters on market

  • PVC and Phthalate free wiring

  • Non-toxic, solvent free glue on some of the assembled panels

We offer the following packages: (our sessions will not exceed 30 minutes)

  • One session: $40

  • 5 sessions package: $180

  • 10 sessions package: $360

  • Lymph Love: $150

Lymph Love is a 1.5h package including: up to 30 minutes in sauna, 15 minutes private gentle yoga flow to increase lymph flow, and 45 minutes of lymphatic massage with Gua Sha stone and dry brush.
